About these terms

These terms apply to SimilarBeliefs, run by Williation Technologies Ltd. They cover reading, accounts and user posts. Our privacy notice explains how we use personal data. Our editorial disclaimer explains the limits of our articles. These terms do not remove rights the law gives you.

Responsible use

Use the site lawfully and treat people with respect. Do not break into accounts, bypass security or disrupt the site. Do not pretend to be someone else or post spam or harmful files. Keep your password and recovery codes private. Contact us if you suspect account misuse. You are responsible for what you submit.

Contributions and moderation

• Discuss ideas and sources, not attacks on people. Do not post threats, harassment, hate directed at protected groups, unlawful discrimination, defamatory allegations or incitement to violence.
• Provide accurate citations where possible. Distinguish quotations, interpretations and personal opinions. Respect differences within traditions.
• Submit only material you own, have permission to use or can lawfully quote. Do not reproduce entire copyrighted works without permission.
• Do not include private personal information, sensitive details about identifiable people or material that endangers children.
• Contributions may be held for review, edited for clarity and safety, declined, removed or returned for correction. Publication is not guaranteed. Repeated or serious misuse may lead to account restrictions.

You keep ownership of your original work. By submitting it, you let us store, review, format and edit it. You also let us publish it on this service if approved. This permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free. That means you can use your work elsewhere, and we do not pay a fee for these uses.

You do not transfer your copyright or allow us to sell your personal data. Contact us to request a correction or removal. Legal duties, accurate records and other people's rights may affect the result. We handle personal data requests under our privacy notice.

Copyright and content complaints

The text, branding and design belong to their rights holders. Quoted sources and other people's assets keep their own rights and licences. Access to this site does not give you permission to copy everything. Legal rights to quote and other copyright exceptions still apply.

To report a copyright issue, harmful post or error, contact us. Send the page URL, the material, your reasons and any evidence. Include a reply address. For copyright reports, identify the work and explain your right to act. Do not send private details we do not need. You can also ask us to review a decision about your post.
